In celebration of my two cats surviving severe health woes in 2012, I'm posting their pictures. (Plus, I'm a writer - writer's love cats!) I was inspired by the joy in Alyce's pictures of her son playing so happily with dominoes. Here are my beasts at their happiest.
Oooh, so cute! Love black and white cats.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kaye! The tuxedo cat is Maxine. She thinks she's human.
DeleteLove seeing kiddies "exercising." Thanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteHi, thanks for coming by. I like action shots, though I'm not very good (and/or my camera isn't very good) at getting them. One day I'll get a fancy camera.
DeleteSo glad your kitties came through 2012 in good health. I miss mine so much. It's been about 5 years since I lost them. Keep saying I'll get more, but I haven't yet. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry about your cats, Frances. It is the one downside to having pets - they just aren't with us long enough. Before these two, it took me nearly ten years after losing two cats in a row to adopt again. Some of that was logistics, but some of it was needing time. Thanks for commenting.
DeleteA happy cat likes to play.
ReplyDeleteGreen eyes look content.
Nice photos.
Thanks!
DeleteNice cat pictures. I'm a cat person too. She looks so guilty though in that second photo.
ReplyDeleteI think that was her "do not disturb me or else" look. She's in her favorite spot: hanging off my husband's knee.
DeleteYour cats look full of fun - I'm glad they recovered from illness. My Snapshot is at http://goo.gl/BIJkg
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteThey look like very sweet cats! It is so much fun to watch cats at any time, but especially when they are happy.
ReplyDeleteYes, they are very sweet and love their people.
DeleteGood to see the kitties healthy and playful.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more!
DeleteSo glad your cats are doing well. They are thriving.
ReplyDeleteHi Deb, thanks for commenting. I hope so. They are 10 years old, but I still think of them as kittens.
DeleteI also have two cats ... one plays frenetically like your grey tiger and one is very standoffish and down-right crabby with strangers ... but I love them both!
ReplyDeleteThat's the great thing about cats, they have such individual personalities (well, dogs and birds do, too!).
DeleteThey sure do look like they're having fun! I'm allergic to cats, so I like birds. And tribbles.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I am allergic to cats, too. But, I had immuno-therapy (I think this is what it was called) and I can handle most cats now. I have one friend who's house I can't even enter because her cats, for some reason, are deadly to me.
DeleteMy mom has a bird, but he's kind of cranky.
your cats are so sweet! So happy for you that their health has improved. Thanks for sharing, Book Savvy Babe
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting!
DeleteYour cats are adorable. My cat had a huge health scare in 2012 also so I know how difficult that is. I'm so glad yours are okay. I love the last picture.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that, Jess. Pet health-scares are a nightmare...and expensive. It was a long few months.
DeleteYour cats look great, glad they made it through their illnesses. I always like a cat picture.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Louise! They may have used up a few of their nine lives, but I'm hoping the worst is behind us.
DeleteCute...thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is stunning...love the header and the side panels. NEW FOLLOWER.
